Abstract
kebutuhan akan teknologi berkecepatan tinggi membuat banyak provider melakukan perancangan jaringan yang dapat memnuhi kebutuhan masyarakat. Sehingga teknologi 5G dikembangkan dan untuk menunjang itu dirancanglah media transmisi yaitu antena. Pada tugas akhir ini dirancang antena mikrostrip mimo 2x2 array patch persegi panjang untuk aplikasi 5g pada frekuensi 2.3 GHz dengan hasil return loss -19,4 dB, bandwidth 116 MHz, gain 10,743 , vswr 1,4 , koefisien isolasi -98,97 dB. Penerapan metode MIMO dan Array mempengaruhi kenaikan gain sebesar 38,97% dibandingkan dengan perancangan antena array 2x1 patch persegi panjang.
